What this site does

Sociotype provides personality assessments and reference material across five frameworks: socionics, enneagram, Big Five, attachment style, and Schwartz values. Most of it is free. We sell one paid product, described below.

What these results are

Personality assessments describe patterns. They are not clinical instruments, and nothing here is a psychological or medical diagnosis. Don't use our results to make decisions about healthcare, mental health treatment, or employment.

Results depend on how you answer. We tell you when a result was a close call and when a system hasn't been measured. Treat it as a starting point for thinking about yourself, not a verdict.

Your account

You can browse without an account. To save results or buy a report, you need one.

Sign-in can be passwordless — we email you a link rather than storing a password. Keep your email secure, since anyone who can read it can reach your account. Don't share accounts, resell access, or interfere with anyone else's use of the site.

The Sociotype+ Profile

$49, charged once. No subscription.

What a purchase buys. One report, built from your results as they stood at the moment you bought it. That report is then fixed. Open it and download the PDF as often as you like, for as long as your account exists.

If your results change. Your profile stays editable. Editing it doesn't change a report you've already bought and doesn't generate a new one. You can buy another report based on updated results — but not one identical to a report you already own.

Availability. We intend to keep purchased reports available indefinitely but can't guarantee it. Download the PDF if you want a copy you control.

Payment

Stripe processes payments; we never see your full card number, and your purchase is also subject to Stripe's terms. Charges appear as SOCIOTYPE.COM. Prices are in US dollars, with sales tax calculated at checkout.

Our content and yours

The text, assessments, and reports here are original work and protected by copyright. You may read them and keep your own report for your own use. You may not republish, resell, redistribute, or use our content to train machine learning systems without written permission.

Your results belong to you. We don't claim ownership of your answers or what they produce.

Advertising

Free areas of the site display advertising, including advertising served by Google. Your profile, your purchased reports, and the purchase flow do not.

Acceptable use

Don't try to reach reports, accounts, or data that aren't yours, or to obtain paid content without paying. Don't scrape at volume, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, or disrupt the site. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

Found a security problem? Email [email protected] rather than exploiting it. We won't pursue good-faith reports.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the site. Material changes to these Terms bump the version and date above. Changes aren't retroactive — a report you already bought is governed by the terms in force when you bought it.

Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided as it is. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising out of the site or a purchase is limited to what you paid us in the preceding twelve months, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Closing your account

Email [email protected]. Closing your account removes access to purchased reports, so download the PDFs first. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located there. If you're a consumer somewhere that gives you rights you can't waive by agreement, nothing here takes those away.
